Ptamigan Drive Project

Project Overview:

Maximizing every square inch was the driving force behind this renovation. From reclaiming hidden space in the garage to extending the home’s footprint for a larger kitchen, this project turned under-utilized areas into high-value living zones.

Objectives:

1. Strategic Square Footage: Reclaim internal garage space to create a high-functioning transition zone between the outdoors and the main home.
2. Open-Concept Expansion: Execute a structural addition to create an expansive, light-filled kitchen and dining area for better hosting and flow.
3. Technical Excellence: Design a barrier-free bathroom environment that prioritizes accessibility and modern aesthetics through advanced waterproofing systems.

Scope of Work:

• Extended the existing laundry room into the unused portion of the garage, creating a dedicated mudroom/laundry room and improved organizational flow.
• Constructed a structural home addition to lengthen the kitchen and dining footprint, allowing for a larger culinary workspace and an open-concept gathering area.
• Performed a complete strip-to-studs renovation to create a fully tanked, waterproofed "wet room." This included the installation of a sleek, barrier-free curbless shower and a modern wall-mounted tub for a seamless, minimalist look.
