Project Overview:

A masterclass in spatial reconfiguration, this dual-bathroom conversion turned one outdated footprint into a cohesive pair of modern sanctuaries. We executed a complete structural and functional overhaul to deliver a high-end primary ensuite and a sleek main bathroom, ensuring every square foot was optimized for contemporary living.

Objectives:

1. Space Optimization: Subdivide a single, inefficiently large bathroom into two independent full-service bathrooms to better serve a busy household.
2. Contemporary Elevation: Replace dated oak cabinetry and blue-toned walls with a refined monochrome palette, featuring deep navy vanities, marble-patterned quartz, and polished chrome fixtures.
3. Enhanced Functionality: Integrate premium bathing options, including a custom walk-in shower with a frameless glass enclosure and a dedicated soaking tub.

Scope of Work:

• Stripped the original space to the studs to facilitate new plumbing lines and wall partitions for the two-room split.
• Installed large-format marble-style wall tiles and grey wood-grain floor tiles.
• Installed dual shaker-style vanities in a bold navy finish, topped with veined quartz counters and undermount sinks. Upgraded to modern LED recessed lighting and sleek vanity bars with "bubble glass" shades for a bright, airy feel.
• Utilized the Schluter-DITRA system for uncoupling and waterproofing, ensuring the structural integrity and longevity of the new tile work.

The successful completion of this bathroom split transformed a sprawling, inefficient room into two distinct sanctuaries. By balancing the bold contrast of the navy cabinetry with the timeless elegance of marble finishes, we created a pair of functional spaces that feel both expansive and intimate, perfectly tailored for modern living.
